Preserving the Neos VR Legacy
An independent community-driven project dedicated to archiving public content from the Neos VR platform, ensuring its history and creativity are not lost.
About the Archive
The Neos Archive is a volunteer-led initiative born from the passion of the Neos VR community. Following the sunset of the platform, a vast amount of public worlds, items, avatars, and tools created by users were at risk of being permanently lost. Our mission is to salvage and preserve this digital heritage for educational, archival, and non-commercial purposes only. All rights to original content remain with their respective creators.
The archive exists to provide historical insight and serve as a lasting tribute to the vibrant and diverse content that once thrived in Neos VR. It stands as a testament to the incredible creativity and collaboration that defined the Neos VR experience. The community behind this effort is not affiliated with Neos VR's original publisher.
We extend our deepest gratitude to the Neos VR community - builders, artists, explorers, and
dreamers - whose contributions made the original platform a truly unique corner of the
metaverse.
The Neos Archive exists because of you.

Removal Request
We fully respect your right to request the removal of content you've contributed, and we will honor those requests. At the same time, we hope you'll consider the role your work plays in the archive and the community it serves. Each contribution helps preserve a shared history, which captures moments of creativity, collaboration, and a unique meta-culture that might otherwise be lost. Your content may hold nostalgic value for others, inspire future creators, or simply bring joy to someone revisiting a meaningful time.
While the archive would be diminished without it, the decision is always yours, and we appreciate whatever choice you feel is right. To initiate a removal request, join our Discord server and submit a request in the #removal-requests channel.
